He was predeceased by: his father Edmund Knetter; his in-law Elaine Scott; and his grandchildren, Bret (Bird Dog), Cash (The Man) and Yellow Brother Waylon.

He is survived by: his mother Marge Knetter (Feck); his grandson Waylon; his wife Sheryl (Scott); his son Jason; and his brothers, Dale Knetter (Norma), Don Knetter (Sue) and Mike Knetter. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
