He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Ohm and Ella Ohm (Federwitz); his wife Verna Wellhoefer; his stepfather William; and his brothers, Herbert and Robert.
He is survived by: his daughter Linda Heeg (Scott); and his grandchildren, Michelle Heeg and Eric Heeg (Emily).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to the VFW, St. John's Lutheran Church in Auburndale, or to Ascension Hospice.
