It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlene J. Carter (Athens, Wisconsin), who passed away on July 15, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Zettler and Marjorie Zettler (Wozniak); and her brothers, Anthony, Dale, Wilfred and David Zettler.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Carter; her daughters, Julie Krarup and Denise Stanton (Kevin); her grandchildren, Shelby Krarup, Kimberly Krarup, Carter Stanton and Trevor Stanton; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Zettler, Linda Zettler and Jan Zettler; and her siblings, Doris Bollech (Jim), Susan Dominowski (Dom), Carol Myers (Keith), Lori Haines (Jeff) and Gene Zettler (Kathy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
