With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kenneth L. Gauerke of Athens, Wisconsin, born in Wausau, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 10, 2024 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Gauerke and Virginia Gauerke (Metz); his siblings, Bill, Dennis, Diane, John and Dick; his brothers-in-law, Randy Auner, Jim Bartz, Dave Kummer, Bozo and Lee Zinkowich; and his parents-in-law, Eddie and Martha Zinkowich.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Gauerke; his daughters, Jacki Nylund (Rick) and Jessi Utecht (Tom Schara); his grandchildren, Trever, Brody, Jazzmin, Chloe (Austin) and Gracie Nylund; his siblings, Bernie Gauerke (Ginnie), Jim Gauerke (Ruth), Bob Gauerke (Joann), Betsy Weiler (Tom), Judy Akey (Wayne), Susie Kummer, Donna Bartz, Dale Gauerke (Debbie), Mike Gauerke (Debbie), Tom Gauerke and Debbie Auner; and his sisters-in-law, Grace, Dawn Gauerke, Jodi Bloch and Muriel Zinkowich. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Kenny's name.
