It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sylvia T. Sechen of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Moquah, Wisconsin, who passed away on September 3, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John H. Mesik and Anna V. Mesik (Chromisky); her husband Anton Sechen; her son Dennis F. Sechen; and her siblings, James Mesik, Elsie Kramolis, Onie Johnson, Bill Mesik and Francis.

She is survived by: her children, Gary Sechen (Mary Hudson), Ashland and Colleen Stibbe; her grandchildren, Stephanie Preasha (Tampa), Kyle Stibbe (Ashland) and Conor Stibbe (Ashland); and her great grandchildren, Tonio Stibbe and Kyler Stibbe. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

“So sorry such a good person as you has passed. I enjoyed our visits when I'd come to your home and we'd gab for hours. You always brightened my day and always had a comical anadote for every situation. Living to be 93 is nothing shorr of a miracle considering all the health issues you were dealing with and the pain you suffered with. RIP my special and good friend. I hope to meet you agian in another life. Until then know that you are sadly missed by all of us who loved you.”
