She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Gurske and Virginia Gurske (McKinnon); her husband Kenneth Robert "Boops" Vaughan; her son Kevin Vaughan; and her siblings, Donna, Jerry, Bill and Lester Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Lori Sunie (Mitch Grage), Scott Vaughan (Carol), Sue Compton (Dennis Beaudette), Brenda Merkt (Ken), Dan Vaughan (Paula) and Randy Vaughan (Tracy); her daughter-in-law Patricia Vaughan; and her brother Bernie Gurske (Woodruff). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
