Merlyn W. Sunie Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merlyn W. Sunie of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Ironwood, Michigan, who passed away on April 3, 2024 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Merlyn W. Sunie to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Toivo S. Sunie and Sigrid M. Sunie (Warpula); his siblings, Leslie, Leroy Sunie, Jan Robinson and Marian Lippert; and his children, Michael Sunie and Carol.
He is survived by: his children, Maria Markos (Anthony), Erik Sunie (Sherlon), Gina Sunie, Lopez and Lori Sunie; his grandchildren, Nate, Heather, Evan, Brianne, Areanna, Brenden, Cora, Samantha, Danika, Isaiah, Angelika, Ava and Brendan; and his sister Kate Stannisch (Huntz). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
