With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary A. Zar of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Washburn, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Roy and Ann Roy (Swiston); her husband Eugene Zar; her brother Albert Roy Jr.; and her sister-in-law Cindy Roy.
She is survived by: her brothers, Ron Roy, Wayne Roy (Kathy) and Larry Roy; her sister-in-law Terri Roy; her children, Kathy Zar, Lynne Johnson (Mark), Ken Zar (Jennifer), Darlene Zar (Gary Sanborn) and Arlene Malach (Scott); her grandchildren, Kenneth Jr. Gilbertson (Kari), Nikki Kmetz (Jim Stone), Jamie Beeksma (Ryan), Jenna Bruner (Jim), Stephanie Stenzel (Joe), Paul Kmetz (Angela), Adrienne Miller (Patrick), Rebecca Katon (Jake), John Skulan (Gwen Hambuch), Dylan Nowicki (Catlyn), Kyle Johnson (Megan Fulweber) and Brodrick Zar (Kaiya); her daughter Terri Provost; and her granddaughter Savannah Skulan. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
