She was predeceased by: her father Norbert Gessert; and her grandparents, Herman, Gertrude Nachtman, Kenneth and Arlie Holleran.

She is survived by: her mother Patricia Gessert (Holleran) of Marshfield; her husband Brian (Whitey); her son Shawn (Darcee Matthes); her grandchildren, Dylan and Serenah of Lakewood, CO; her daughter Kristina (Jay Barnier, Jr.); her grandchildren, Forest and Kristal of Chippewa Falls, WI; her stepdaughter Tracy Matthes of Appleton; her stepgrandchildren, Keyshawn Payton and Kamil Matthes; and her siblings, Barb, Dick Cooper of Marshfield, Clarence, Mary Hartl of Marshfield, Steve and Kris Gessert of Chippewa Falls, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
