James S. Monroe Jr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James S. Monroe Jr. of Ashland, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Beatrice L. Monroe, Sr. (Blake) and James "Monk" S. Monroe, Sr.; his sister Nancy; and his uncle William Blake. He is survived by: his wife Dottie Monroe; his son Michael Monroe (Kayla); his grandchildren, Bailey, Eliana and Emelia Monroe; and his sister Kay Monroe.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mountain Funeral Home (220 3rd Ave E, Ashland, WI 54806). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Saint Agnes Cemetery (1520 Sanborn Ave, Ashland, WI 54806).
