He was predeceased by: his parents, Eino Peltonen and Alma Peltonen (Uitto); his wife Glenora A. Allar; and his sisters, Ellen Peltonen and Joan Smart.
He is survived by: his children, Harold Peltonen of Cornucopia, WI, Tara Peltonen of Hayward, WI, Jamie Peltonen of Stone Lake, WI, Lee Adams (Christine) of Indianola, IA and Richard Adams of Marietta, GA; and his siblings, Lois Bodam, Penelope "Penny" Allar, Robert Peltonen (Betty), Thomas Peltonen (Vivian), William Peltonen (Carolyn), Gary Peltonen, John Peltonen, Daniel Peltonen (Sheryl) and Richard Peltonen. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
