He was predeceased by: his parents, Harald Haukaas and Bertina Haukaas (Knutson); his son Craig; and his sister Maxine Haukaas. He is survived by: his wife Joan; his sons, Erik Haukaas (Amy), Jon Haukaas (Jean) and Michael Haukaas (Shawn Severson); his grandchildren, Megan Flatley (Zak), Benjamin Haukaas (Jennifer), Alyssa Haukaas (Andrew Turner), Jacob Haukaas (Becca), Ben Anderson and Liam Anderson-Haukaas; his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Felicity, Evan, Rainey, Juniper and Novaleigh; and his foster daughter Sandi Brandt (Stone). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (311 13th Street W, Ashland, WI 54806). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
