He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Groom (Evelyn Groom) and Evelyn Groom (Hyde); his wife Joanna Weber of Scotch Plains; and his daughter Paulina. He is survived by: his children, Thomas Groom, Peter Groom (Chelle), Rose Reed (Dan Revolinski), Mark Groom (Dawn) and Eileen Gorman (Ron); his grandchildren, Eve, David, Katrina, April, Missi, Charles, Renee and Sara; his great grandchildren, Mary, Lynda, Nycole, Kiley, Blake, Ethan, Nova and Renee; his sisters-in-law, Lynn Groom, Beverly Groom and Elsie Groom; and his close friends, Judy Asplund and Hortencia Padilla. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Home (305 Chapple Ave, Ashland, WI 54806). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
