Dorothy B. Whiting Obituary
In loving memory of Dorothy B. Whiting of Ashland, Wisconsin, who departed this world on December 15, 2024 at the age of 98. Dorothy leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Vandergon and Wilhelmina Vandergon (Mol); her siblings, Marion Balster (Louis), Phyliss Bergman (Red) and Bud Vandergon (Gloria); her daughter Patricia Sobush (Larry); and her great grandchild Eris Yepma.
She is survived by: her significant other Charles Whiting; and her children, Beth Smith (Albert), Charles Whiting (Jean), Craig Whiting (Bonita) and Richard Whiting (Anne). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 50467 State Hwy 13, Ashland, WI 54806. Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the United Presbyterian Congregational Church (214 Vaughn Ave, Ashland, WI 54806). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
