Dale C. Thewis Obituary
We bid farewell to Dale C. Thewis of Ashland, Wisconsin, born in Mellen, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 27, 2025 at the age of 84. Dale touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid Dale farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Dale is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Thewis and Luella Thewis (Wrege). He is survived by: his wife June Holmquest; his children, Sue Swanson (Tim), Diane Tucci (Brian), Jerry Thewis, Harry Thewis (Michelle), Patricia Neibauer (Kevin), Tina Wilson (Dallas) and Leann Lutz (Mike); his granddaughter Mary Levsen; and his sister Kathy Holman (Gordon). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (700 Sanborn Ave, Ashland, WI 54806). A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
