He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Schroeder and Iola Schroeder (Van Buskirk); his wife Esther (Crist); his son-in-law Robert Skilton; his great grandchild Cody Schill; and his siblings, Harold Schroeder (Delores) and Dorothy Oxley (Cloyde).
He is survived by: his children, Gary Schroeder (Rosie) of Arpin and Linda Skilton of Fall River, WI; his grandchildren, Sandi Schill (Kevin), Timothy Schroeder, Tonya Rucinski (Preston), Rebecca Kelly (Todd) and Richard Skilton (Dawn); his great grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Isaiah, Bella, Hannah, Taylor, Mateo Schill, Kaitlyn, Kylie Rucinski, Lydia and Dylan Kelly; and his great great grandchildren, Aiden and Emmerson Schill. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
