He was predeceased by: his parents, Nathan Hillmer and Betty Hillmer; his brother Allen; his stepson Dennis Romeo; and his former wife Judy Whitehorse.
He is survived by: his brother Warren (Sheila) of Cottage Grove; his children, Heather of California and Christopher (Samantha); and his grandchildren, Mika and Ari of Florida. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
