Bender of Arlington, Wisconsin, born in Poynette, Wisconsin, who passed away at the age of 93, on January 17, 2023. She was predeceased by: her father George L. Brauer; her husband Bill; her siblings-in-law, Kent Bender, Pauline Bender and Anita Grinde; her cousin Eldon Hall (Dorothy); and her friend Zelda Droster.

She is survived by: her children, William Bender (Karen) of Poynette and Kari Bender of Wausau; her grandchildren, Caitlin Fahy (Matthew) and Cory Bender (Karen); her great grandchildren, Cillian of Poynette, Maeve Fahy of Poynette, Anna of Poynette and Lily Bender of Poynette; her brother-in-law Richard Grinde of Waunakee; her grandson Louis Liu (Adam); and her daughter Stella. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, which will be passed onto the Bender Family Scholarship in Poynette Schools, and the local Humane Society.
