He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Komro and Anna Komro (Pfeiffer); his siblings, Louis Komro (Mamie), Mary Peebles (Leon), Rose Roark (Richard) and Eldred Komro; his brother-in-law George Green; and his stepdaughters, Linda Almsted and Patricia Hauschildt.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Severson; his son Rodney Komro (Linda); his stepchildren, Mike Almsted (Sandy), Diane Almsted and Judy Schultz (Blake); his siblings, Lorraine Green and Lester Komro; and his sister-in-law Kathy Komro. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
