He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Goepfert and Margaret Goepfert (Buehler); and his son Kevin Goepfert. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Krista Iverson (Curt) of Warrens, WI and Keith Goepfert (Lynn) of St. Michael, MN.; his grandchildren, Kolton Goepfert of Chanhassen, MN, Dane Iverson of Eau Claire, WI, Konnor Goepfert of St. Michael, MN, Erin Goepfert of Silver Lake, MN and Cade Iverson of Menomonie, WI.; his siblings, Pete Goepfert of Monticello, WI and Virginia "Ginny" Drake of Monroe, WI.; and his pet Lizzy.

For those who prefer, a memorial fund has been established in Bill's name. Memorials will be given to the Argyle Community Fund in Bill's memory.
