He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Sutherland and Norma Sutherland (Brown); his wife Rose Marie Smith; and his siblings, Ardith Sutherland, Marlene Jasperson, Donna Lawler, Jeanine Mahoney, Eston Sutherland, Norma Mills and Ronald Sutherland.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Sutherland, Jr. (Karen) of Argyle, Diane Mundt (Brian) of Argyle, Ann DeNure (Don Andrews) of Darlington, WI, Marlene Flannery (Marco) of Argyle and Julie Flannery (Dennis) of Argyle; his sisters, Mary Alderman of Viola, WI and Linda Chamberlain of Viola, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Arden Mills, Kate Smith and Janice Wilder. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
