He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Janik; his granddaughter Kristen Marie Kramer; his parents, Zofia Janik and Wojciech Janik; and his brother John Janik (Vicky).
He is survived by: his daughters, Halina Kramer (Robert) and Janina Leja (Paul); his grandsons, Adam Leja, Bobby Kramer (Jacqueline Nesbitt), Matthew Leja and Michael Kramer; and his siblings, Mary Szczap (Joseph), Helen Hlavin (Ralph), Angie Medlik (late John), Stanley Janik (Patricia), Sophia Kolzow (late James), Ted Janik (Diane) and Edward Janik (Maria).
