It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John M. Flannery (Argyle, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 13, 2021, at the age of 40, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, John Jr., Fola Flannery, Arnold and Delores Bocklund; his uncle Greg Flannery; his godparents, Pam Bocklund and Carl Mize; his niece Trinity Flannery; his cousin Erica Flannery; his grandparents-in-law, Robert McGowan, Daniel and Chris Scholl; and his close friend Darren Meade.

He is survived by: his parents, Michael Flannery and Candice Flannery (Bocklund) of Blanchardville, WI; his wife Shannon McGowan; his daughters, Shelby Flannery of Darlington and Kadance Flannery of Darlington; his parents-in-law, Jeff, Liz McGowan of Blanchardville and Colleen Hughes of Blanchardville; his siblings, Matt Flannery (Lisa) of Blanchardville, Angela Flannery (Steve) of Waldwick, WI, Melissa Doescher (Craig) of Argyle, WI and Dana Flannery (Jonny) of Blanchardville; his brothers-in-law, Chad McGowan (Michele) of Blanchardville and Jared McGowan of Blanchardville; and his close friend Steve Meade. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Due to Wisconsin state mandate, masks must be worn throughout your visit inside the funeral home and that proper social distancing guidelines are practiced at all times.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in John's name.
