She was predeceased by: her parents, Willis Isely and Leona Isely (Hefty); her husband John W. Bruehlman; her children, Gerald Bruehlman and Laurel Bruehlman; her children-in-law, Marjean Bruehlman (Zweifel) and Dale Jelinek; her brothers, Daryle Isley and Erling Isely; and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy, Joyce, Carol Isley, Dan Dugan and John Shippee.

She is survived by: her children, Loren Bruehlman (Kristi) of Argyle, Jim Bruehlman (Lisa Bina) of Argyle and Chris Goff (David) of Fairbanks; her grandchildren, Cory, Kayla and Ashley Bruehlman; her children, Nadean Ho (Gene) of Hot Springs, AR, Kevin Bruehlman of Florida, Kyle Bruehlman (Kasey) of Monroe, WI, Brock and Erin Bruehlman of Madison; her great grandchildren, Barry, Ella, Luna Kruz, Everett and Iris; her stepgreat-granddaughter Rosalie; her siblings, Roger Isely of Argyle, Eldon Isely (Sally) of Plymouth, WI, Donald Isely (Paula) of Etters, PA, Alan Isely (Iola) of New Glarus, Junice Shippee of Lena, IL, Marlys Isely of Monroe, Angie Dugan of Wadena Saskatchewan and Imogene Wilner (Craig) of Summerville, OR; her sister-in-law Ann Isely of Sun Prairie, WI; and her close friend Julie. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in JoAnne's name.
