He was predeceased by: his parents, John Siegenthaler and Edith Siegenthaler (Shellito); his in-laws, Ben and Phyllis Smith; his siblings, Robert "Bob" Siegenthaler and Pauline "Polly" McMannes; his nephews, Kurt Siegenthaler, Tony Siegenthaler, Brian McMannes and Alan McMannes; and his siblings-in-law, Donald Hanson, Charles McMannes and Karen Siegenthaler.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Smith; his sons, Gary, Greg (Kathi), Carl (Debbie), Dean (Jolena) and Eric; his grandchildren, Derek (Cassie), Dylan (Jena), Sara, Jenessa "Nessa", Jetton, Benjamin, Sophie, Ross and Madelyn; his stepgrandchildren, Eric (Solange), Lief and Kiley Erlandson; his great grandchildren, Ryker, Ada Siegenthaler and Paysen Siegenthaler; his stepgreat-granddaughter Charlotte Erlandson; his siblings, Orvin Siegenthaler (Ruth), Elizabeth "Libby" Hanson and Ruth Custis (Jerry); and also LuAnn Donahue.
