She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Ley and Louise Ley (Conger); her spouse Uyless "Bill" Akins; her son William "Bill" Akins; and her sisters, Katherine Ley and Doris Sheehan.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Stafford (Gary); her granddaughter Mariah McElwee (Ryan); her great grandchildren, McKenna and Aryana; her grandson David Stafford (Sierra); her great grandchildren, Paige and Alexi; her grandson Mitchell Stafford; her great grandchild Flynn; and also, Lonny Akins (Tina), Codi and Jacob Greeneway. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
