He is survived by: his wife Nancy Carole Borst; his siblings, Jan Schroeder and Jim Schara (Sandy); his children, Jean Schara (Alan Love), Ann Houck (Kevin), Bob Schara and David Schara (Tina); his grandchildren, Samantha Shaw (Chris), Sabrina Schara, Marilyn Houck (Anthony Starling), Kevin Houck, Alicia DeRosa (Dominick), Aaron Schara (Lori), Jordan Schara (Hannah Muecke) and Jace Schara (Riley Gautier); his great grandchildren, Rhylie Hannam, McKayla Collins, Harley Shaw, Ryker Shaw, Elijah Starling, Grace Schara, Aviendha Schara and Addilyn Rose DeRosa; and his siblings-in-law, Rod Borst (Darlene), Ken Borst (Lori) and Elisabeth Stewart. He is also survived by many relatives and friends.
