It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Platteter of Arcadia, Wisconsin, born in Fountain City, Wisconsin, who passed away on July 23, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Farrand and Christine Farrand (Engebretson); her friend Pat Dolan; her husband Arnie; her grandsons, Joey and Marvin; her great grandchild Joshua; her son-in-law Paul Dettloff; and her brothers, Ron Farrand and Wallace "Red" Farrand.
She is survived by: her children, David Platteter (Ann) of Arcadia and Gayle McDonald (Stephen) of Winona; her stepdaughters, Judith Mettlach (Leonard) of Watertown, Joan Dettloff of Arcadia and Karen Blaschko (Allan) of Arcadia; her grandchildren, Curtis (Annalita), Carrie (Chris), Scott (Diana), Steve Bobbi (Cathy), Randy, Danny (Alexis), Demond, Tawana, Katrina, Heather, Mary, Kyle, Michele, Marsha (Jon Toso), Carter (Diane), Darby (Jordan), Megan (Jacob), Dustin, Jennifer (John) and Jason; her great grandchildren, Grayson, Annalia, Jacob, Ariah, Daniel, Jr., A'Miracle, Adeline, Cooper, Alexandra, Koda, Kai, Joel, Liam, Wyatt, River, Reyna, Kamaya and Kyleigh; her brother Dave Farrand (Liz); and her sisters-in-law, Ginny Farrand and Betty Farrand. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
