With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mary Lou Sobotta of Arcadia, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Mary Lou left this world on November 2, 2024 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Abts and Margaret Abts (Zeller); and her siblings, Moraine Suchla, Dawn Kostner, Margie Rumpel, Evelyn Laehn, Catherine Brenner, Carmen Verhagen, Melvin, Eugene, William and Daniel "Butch" Abts.
She is survived by: her husband Dave of Arcadia; her children, Ann Powers (Scott) of Chippewa Falls and Sam Sobotta (Anita) of Arcadia; her grandsons, Jordan Manka (Amber) of Trempealeau, Jared Manka (Megan), Whitehall of Arcadia, Cole Sobotta of Arcadia and Max Sobotta of Arcadia; her sister Jane Abts of Arcadia; and also Jayce of Arcadia. She is also survived by many in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Calendar Holy Family Parish (221 McKinley St, Arcadia, WI 54612). A procession was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:45 AM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home (1378 Wilson Ave, Arcadia, WI 54612). A Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Calendar Holy Family Parish (221 McKinley St, Arcadia, WI 54612).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Holy Family Catholic School and Parish.
