He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lila Wieland and Rudolph Wieland; his son-in-law Harry Rasmussen; his grandchildren-in-law, Erik, Benjamin Rasmussen and Sundays; his friend Eldon Berg; his wife Carole; his stepdaughter Cindy Rasmussen (Harry) of Hayward, Wisconsin.; his grandsons, Erik Lee Rasmussen of Middleton and Benjamin James Rasmussen of Stevens Point; his nephew Terry; his sister Lita; his brother-in-law Jerry Schollmeier; and also, Carole, Kent, Kathy Schollmeier and Merita Schollmeier.
Due to the Covid-19 virus, a private graveside ceremony will be held at a later date.
