He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Schlesser and Aurelia Schlesser (Sobotta); and his wife Betty. He is survived by: his daughter Gail Waletzko of Whitehall; his grandson Dakota Waletzko (Jaydin) of Arcadia; his sisters, Jane Ingram (Arthur) of Ocala, FL and Sue Kulig (Roger) of Whitehall; his son-in-law Allen La Rue of New Auburn; and his brother-in-law Mike Maliszewski (Terri) of Eden Prairie, MN..
