He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Fritz Fankhauser; his wife Gloria; his children, Chad (Phyllis), John (Sue Ellen), Ericka Sobotta (Leroy) and Michele Rugotzke (Toby); his grandchildren, Nathan of Miranda, CJ, Kaden, Hunter, Kendra, Kylie, Matilda, Audreya, Fritz, Brogan, Jurgen and Larkyn; his great grandchildren, Owyn and Xavier; his siblings, Vreni Von Gunten (Res) of Ontario, Canada, Hans Fankhauser (Ida) of British Columbia, Canada, Lisabeth Gautchi (Eugen) of Switzerland, Rudolph Fankhauser of Switzerland and Rosemarie Wuthrich-Fankhauser (Res) of Switzerland; and also, Edward and Jeanette Senty. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
