He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas "Tom Bill" Suchla and Martha Suchla (Klonecki); his son Gary Suchla; his grandchildren, Melissa Suchla and Zachary Suchla; and his siblings, Jerome Suchla, Leander Suchla, Marion Earney (Dallas), Arvilla Kupietz (Vince), Bernadine Sonsalla and Kenneth "Jim" Suchla.
He is survived by: his wife Beatrice Buchholz; his children, Rick Toepfer (Mary Jo), Sandra Suchla, Randy Suchla (Brenda), Cindy Winnie (Pete) and Kay Krismer; and his siblings, Theresa Stanislowski and William "Bill" Suchla. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
