He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Neitzel and Mary Neitzel (Hund); his wife Donna; and his brothers, Alvin, Gerald "Jake" and Frank.
He is survived by: his sons, Donald (Tammy) of Galesville and Brian of Arcadia; his grandchildren, Lucas (Crystal) of Green Bay, Lindsay of Fond and Lac; his great grandchild Noah Charles of Green Bay; and his siblings, Robert of Blair, David (Dee) of Fountain City, Frederick (Brenda) of Cochrane, Mary Lou Sobotta of Fountain City and Theresa Mazig (Al) of Minneapolis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
