He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Suit and Nina Suit; his son-in-law Frederick Adams; and his siblings, Patsy Bogumil and Harland Suit.

He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his children, Thomas Suit (Terrie), Terri Adams and James Suit (Kelly); his grandchildren, Emily and Thomas Suit; his siblings, Mike Lentz and Barbara Taylor; and his sister-in-law Ann Suit.
