He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wegner, and Helen Wegner, Sr. (Haufe); his wife Joanne Hutjens; his stepson Jerry Clancy; his siblings, Keith Wegner, Robert Wegner, Warren Wegner and Dorraine Degner; and his half-brother Miles Wegner.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Wegner, Lisa Berger (Jeff), Kenneth Wegner (Cheri Springstube-Eggert) and Susan Rideout (Alden); his stepchildren, Sean Clancy (Patty), Mickey Clancy (Connie) and Karen Clancy (Jill); his grandchildren, Adam Gerdts (Kate Gardner), Alison Marchillo (Daniel), Jon Kilsdonk and Chris Kilsdonk (Mykayla); his great grandchildren, Etta, Penelope and Ethan; and his siblings, Scott Wegner, Reggie Wegner (Patti), Sonya Prellwitz (Jim), Jackie Goerl, Dennis Wegner (Helen) and Garth Wegner (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
