He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Koehler and Elsie Koehler (Miller); his parents-in-law, Frank and Elsie Schroeder (Lueck); his siblings, Verona Wohlt (Robert), Loraine Holcombe (Les), Ardyce DeBruin (LeRoy), Leroy (Geneva) and Duane Koehler (Elizabeth); his siblings-in-law, Adam Roland, Robert Schroeder (LaVerna) and Roxanne Vanlandgen (Douglas); and his grandson Wayne Koehler.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanine Ann Schroeder; his children, Susan Besaw (Lee) of New London, Michael Koehler (Cindy) of Menasha, Heidi Luchterhand (Stephen) of Minocqua and Heather Ludwig (Joe) of Appleton; and his grandchildren, Scarlett Koehler, Andrew Besaw (Erin), Nick Besaw (Crystal), Katie Smith (Zackary), Brian Koehler (Samantha Barry), Jill Koehler (Marquez Edmund), Paul Koehler (Daniella), Luke Luchterhand (Emily Marino), Elizabeth, Grace Luchterhand, Kendra Bills (Brad) and Derek Ludwig. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other extended relatives, and many close friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Lutheran Church (930 E Florida Ave, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
