She is survived by: her husband Bob Simon; her son Jared Simon; her daughter-in-law Heejib Simon; her grandchildren, Jaehee and Joon Simon; her brothers, Bruce Petros (Katie) and Craig Petros (Lynn); and her in-laws, Bill Simon (Shirley), Mary Giles, Mike Simon (Carole), Suzanne Wade (Larry), Jeanne Kanyuh (Rock) and Dick Simon (Diane). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel (606 N Oneida St, Appleton, WI 54911).
If inclined, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Sandy's honor.
