He is survived by: his parent Emma Herrmann (Lueders); his wife Marian; his sons, Gary Simpson (Jan) and Thomas Simpson (Cindy); his grandchildren, John, Amy, Jamie Simpson and Kay Hillman (Chris); his siblings, Jerry Herrmann (Sandy), Jim Herrmann (Mary), Millie Pagel, Helen Shortt and Phylis Bouchard; and his brothers-in-law, James Kohl (Beverly) and Robert Kohl (Luis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
