He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Semrow and Hulda Semrow (Gutsche); his wife Joan Rickert; his siblings, Erma Buss (Victor), Harley Semrow (Selma) and Wilmer Semrow (Dolores); his siblings-in-law, Clarence Sievert, David Rickert, Gary Rickert, Marge Springstroh and Mary Rickert; and his parents-in-law, Joseph E. and Edna Rickert.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell Semrow (Lori), Debra Peterson (Jim) and Dennis J. Semrow; his grandchildren, Sarah Murphy (Marty), Stacy Jacobs (Justin), Ian Peterson (Sarina), Emily Peterson and Kelsey Schumaker (Devon); his great grandchildren, Nora, Finn Murphy, Elle, Nate, Owen Jacobs and Schumacher; his sister Mildred Sievert; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Springstroh, Pat Rickert, Bill Rickert (Katie), Dan Rickert (Joy), Mike Rickert (Jill), Judy Rickert, Kathy Schiedermayer (Marv) and Cindy (Mike).
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church (N2740 N French Rd, Appleton, WI 54913). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (N2740 N French Rd, Appleton, WI 54913).
