With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roger James Simpson (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on February 22, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Roger James departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Roger James may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Roger James leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fern Moore and James Simpson; and his brother-in-law Dick Olson. He is survived by: his siblings, Beverly Olson (John Cozzuol) of Fox Crossing, Marlene Hillyer (Dennis) of Appleton and Melvin Moore (Sheila) of Neenah. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Eagle Point Senior Living (955 E John St, Appleton, WI 54911). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Eagle Point in Appleton, the Neenah/Menasha Animal Shelter or St. Jude's Hospital in Memphis, TN.
