It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Safford of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Tracy, Minnesota, who passed away on February 9, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Safford and Esther B. Safford (Phillips); and his sister Donna Mae Landes. He is survived by: his wife Lucille B. Good; his children, Glen Safford (Dinah) of LaValle, WI and David Safford (Robin) of Carmel, NY; his grandchildren, Tom Safford of Davenport, IA, Rachel Hulsey (Jeremy) of Middleton, WI, Paul Safford (Tracy) of Austin, TX, Laura Safford (Eric) of Seattle, WA and Kristen Safford of Norfolk, VA.; and his great grandchildren, Rose, Camille and Benjamin Hulsey.
In lieu of flowers a memorial many be given to the Appleton Shriner Club and proceeds will go to the Shriner Children's Hospital (Shriner's Hospital for Children).
