He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rhode and Elva Rhode (Bockhaus); and his nephew Andy. He is survived by: his children, James, Jenna, Thomas (Alida), Christine (Kevin) and Rob (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Madeline, Lily, Mya, Shaya, Killian, Adeline and Liam; his sisters, Barbara (Art) and Jane (Lance); and the mother of his children Elaine. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
