He is survived by: his daughters, Katherine Schmalz (Werth) and Wendy Werth-Rusch; his siblings, Renee, Bill, Cindy, Dean, Denise, Dennis, Jackie, Joyce and Sarah; his wife Lana (Fischer); his grandchildren, Nathaniel "Nate" Rusch (Lydia), Tobias, Samantha and Anthony Schmalz; and his siblings-in-law, Lin, Lyle and Lois. He is also survived by forty-one nieces and nephews.
