He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Searles and Esther Searles (Schram); his in-law Harvey Borne (Kathryn); his siblings, Clara Tripp (Tom) and Bill Searles (Carol); and his brother-in-law Jordan Fugate.
He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Borne; his sons, Doug Searles (Kathryn), David Searles (Julie) and Scott Searles (Saija); his grandchildren, Steven Searles (Jessica), Annika Searles and Oliver Searles; his great grandchild Grayson Searles; his sister Ginny Fugate; and his sister-in-law Carolyn D'Souza (Oscar).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church (325 E Franklin St, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mortes Country Club (3600 W Prospect Ave, Appleton, WI 54914).
