He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burgess and Gladys Burgess. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Cynthia Gade (Peter), Laura Parker (Richard), Scott Burgess and James Burgess; his stepdaughter Jennifer Sarhaddi (Richard); his grandchildren, Amanda Tejcma (Nicholas) and Alexis Turner (Daniel); his stepgrandsons, Cameron and Spencer Sarhaddi; and his great grandchildren, Finn, Freya, Ford Tejchma, Malachi and Ezra Turner.
