He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester J Berens and Sylvia M Berens (Rabe); his daughters, Rachel and Leah Berens; his brothers, Paul, James and John Berens (LaRue); his parents-in-law, Loren and Linda Stevens; and his brother-in-law Robert Stevens.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy Stevens-Berens; his son Nick C. Berens of Appleton; his grandson Will Berens (Olivia); and his sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Hopfensperger, Pat Stevens and Meri Lee Erickson. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the O'Connell Funeral Home (1776 E Main St, Little Chute, WI 54140). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family is requesting in lieu of flowers to consider personally planting a flower or bush in remembrance of Pete.
