He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Ellen Rich. He is survived by: his daughters, Sara and Betsy; and his grandson James. He is also survived by other relatives and dear friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the UW Oshkosh Foundation for the Mary Ellen and Norman J. Frenzel Scholarship and to the Health Career Scholarship Fund at Theda Care Medical Center in Appleton. Contributions to the American Heart Association and to the UW Comprehensive Cancer Center would also be appreciated.
