It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael R. McCanna of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Vander Hyden (Heidi); his daughter Dr. Alysse Kathleen McCanna; his son-in-law Mukund Gopalakrishnan; his siblings, Philip, Peter, Kevin, Roy (Rose), Terry, Mary Anne, Maggie, Patricia and Katie (Joe); his sisters-in-law, Mary Leonard and Kari; his parents, Dr. Philip Roy McCanna and Lois DeLeers McCanna (DeLeers); his brothers-in-law, Tom Vander Hyden, Richard Trudell and Jerome Wray; his nephews, David McCanna and Riley McCanna; and also, Shirley, Jan (Jerry) and Gloria. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
