Mary left this world on April 18, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Dinter and Rose Van Dinter (Geurts); her husband Jim Gillespie (Jim); her daughter Cheri Manderfield (Mike); her son-in-law Jay Sonnleitner; her sister-in-law Janice Van Dinter; her brother William; her sister-in-law Judith Gillespie; and her close friend Joyce Lecker.
She is survived by: her brothers, David and Daniel Van Dinter; her daughter Lori Gillespie (Jay); her grandchildren, Jeff Lecker (Ericka), Nicole Michiels (Mitchell) and Logan Gillespie; her great grandchildren, Bella, London Lecker, Lainey and Harper Michiels; and her close friends, Sue Hagel and Judy Pocan.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church (1810 N McDonald St, Appleton, WI 54911). A Mass will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
